The Mad Cow Vape House is an e-cigarette retailer established by ex-smokers turned passionate vapers. 

They approached us to develop an identity for the new product called Doc Lock’s Marvellous E-Juices, with the only stipulation being was “vaping not for the average Joe”.

The target audience was the suave and sophisticated hipster, so it was only fitting to use for inspiration, the look, style, dapper outfits of their impressive facial hair of their Victorian forefathers.

A marveLlous projecT for the distinguished gentleman

To guarantee the branding was correct, we researched everything from the Victorian era ranging from clothing, typography, colours and even the advertising of the mutton-chopped traveling salesmen with their miracle cures.

Ultimately, we produced a really smart logo and colour scheme for Doc Lock that encapsulated that era and also made it attractive to their 21st Century equivalents, the hipster.

As you can see, we used some absolutely perfect photography and combined with the new Doc Lock emblem, produced a series of super eye-catching adverts and posters to promote this excellent product.
